Meet Mike, your friendly and experienced kids instructor! As a father of three, Mike knows how to create a fun and engaging environment for young learners.
With many years of experience teaching kids' sports, Mike has developed a passion for working with children. A general contractor by trade, Mike is used to building things from the ground up. He takes the same approach to building up kids' confidence, discipline, and physical fitness through the sport.
Mike's classes are filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of high-fives. He believes in creating a positive and supportive environment where kids can build relationships, learn new skills, and have fun. Additionally, he understands that each child has their own learning style and tailors his teaching approach to suit each individual.
As a brown belt in BJJ, Mike is able to use his extensive knowledge to teach his students not only the physical techniques but also the mental and emotional aspects of the sport. He encourages his young students to be good sports, to respect their opponents, and to push themselves to be their best.
Mike's love for teaching kids BJJ is matched by his passion for the outdoors and spending time with his family. Off of the mats, Mike enjoys kayaking, hiking, fishing, biking, and snowboarding. Beyond BJJ, Mike instills in his students the importance of pursuing their passions and having fun.
